Alberta, British Columbia, Yukon and Alaska.

September 2013: A road trip from Calgary to Whitehorse (and back), with a detour to Alaska to visit Skagway and Haines. Driving the Alaska Highway to visit friends in the Yukon; one of those long awaited bucket list adventures -- finally crossed off the list. Well, not quite: The stretch from Dawson Creek to Whitehorse, at least, can be crossed off, but the official 'end of the road' is Anchorage, so another trip might be in order. Next time we will fly to Whitehorse, and rent a car there to continue the journey. B.C. Yukon and Alaska, are too vast to see with just two weeks on the road, especially when the journey north, and back, is six days just in itself. The following pictures provide the briefest of overviews of this vast and breathtaking land. More may be added later, but for now, as I'm also posting a larger gallery of pictures from China (as an interesting contrast) I'll limit this collection to just 20 pictures.
